Historic Courthouse before 2010 fire
Located in Chatham County, North Carolina, Pittsboro was established as a town in 1785. Pittsboro's historic courthouse and clock tower sits at the center of a traffic circle in downtown Pittsboro. In March, 2010, fire destroyed a large part of the courthouse building, which was in the process of a major exterior renovation.
