Kernersville

Kernersville is a small town in the heart of North Carolina's Piedmont Triad surrounded by the three major cities Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. Its central location is close to the area's major roadways.
Kernersville's geographical location and easy access attract industry and developers that help the town continue to grow while still retaining its small-town charm. Visitors can enjoy the independent shops and buisnesses in town, the surrounding nature, and the larger cities nearby.
One long-time attraction in Kernersville is Körner's Folly, built between 1878-1880 by architect and furniture builder, Jule Körner to showcase his artistry to potential clients. Körner was a grandson of the town's namesake, Joseph Kerner. Körner's Folly is now a tourist attraction, affectionately nicknamed "The Strangest House in the World" because of its design featuring 22 rooms of different sizes, a theater, antiques, and fine craftsmanship. In 2009, Körner's Folly was officially declared to be haunted after a paranormal investigative team performed tests there.
The Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden is located in town and currently, constuction continues on the PJCBG Visitor and Horticulture Center. Kernersville holds two annual events, Spring Folly in May and the Honeybee Festival in the fall.
